I'm going on our first cruise this summer on the Dream with my 6 and 13 year old sons and their Nana (my mom). While at Castaway, my oldest will be on the wild side teen adventure while we do the extreme getaway. Will my 13 year old be missing out?

    Ahoy Jamie!

Dreaming of your Disney Dream Cruise will soon become a reality as you set sail for your magical Bahamian voyage!  Your crew is going to love Disney's private oasis, Castaway Cay!  The beautiful turquoise water, soft white sand, and gorgeous tropical flowers will surround you on this island paradise!

I think your 13 year old will enjoy the Wild Side Teen Adventure, but if he is interested in interacting with stingrays, he might be disappointed in missing out on the Extreme Getaway.  The other activities are comparable so if the stingrays are not important to him, he should stick with the Wild Side Port Adventure. All the Port Adventures are Castaway Cay are spectacular so whatever your family chooses, you are sure to have a great time!

I hope you have the most wonderful experience on your first Disney Cruise!  Please let me know if I can assist you further with your planning!  I'm always happy to help!

    Have a fantastic day!
