Hey there, Danny! Welcome to planDisney, thanks for stopping by! Like you, Walt Disney World Resort is my "home away from home", but I visited Disneyland Resort for my birthday a few years ago, and let me tell you, I had the most magical time! They are very similar, yet very different from each other. Here are some of my takeaways from my visit!
Let's talk rides first! Fantasyland at Disneyland Park is the cutest, most enchanting part of the entire resort. To me, you feel like you're stepping into a storybook. I think I rode Snow White's Enchanted Wish the most, it is one of those "must do's" at Disneyland. Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain were some of my husband's favorites and mine too! The Matterhorn is a classic at Disneyland, and if you're a big Walt fan (like me!) take time to see
The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Over at Disney's California Adventure Park, ride in the swinging gondolas over at
Pixar Pal-A-Round, and you absolutely cannot sleep on
Incredicoaster! Hands down my favorite coaster from either of the theme parks!
The next two things I wanted to cover were dining and shows! Make sure to take time to enjoy the Main Street Electrical Parade, and
World of Color shows in the evening! As far as dining, make a breakfast reservation for a giant Mickey waffle over at
Carnation Cafe, where they serve some of Walt's personal favorite dishes. And you absolutely cannot leave Disneyland without trying their churros!
Have the best visit to Disneyland, Danny! I hope you find it as charming and magical as I did!
