Welcome back to planDisney, Jennifer!
Do you see that line where the sky meets the sea? Does it call you? If it does, just like Moana, you will feel right at home staying in the tropical oasis of
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Let's dive into everything "shiny" you can discover at Disney's Polynesian Village.
The first stop during our voyage around the Polynesian Village Resort should be to discuss the dining options; just make sure not to trip on the taro root! My personal favorites are
Kona Cafe for breakfast (the Tonga Toast is terrific) and
Ohana for dinner (I may have dreamed about those Ohana noodles once or twice). Then for a treat, head over to the
Pineapple Lanai. Just watch out for the Kakamora; I've heard they particularly enjoy the DOLE Whip Soft-Serve swirl. Finally, the perfect place for adults to end the evening is
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto Lounge. Each beverage is not just a drink but also a small show!
Next, we should get Maui to use his hook to lasso the sun or some entertainment. One of my family's favorite options is the 142-foot waterslide volcano at the
Lava Pool. After zooming down that slide all afternoon, we enjoy relaxing on the beach and watching the enchanting
Electrical Water Pageant, followed by viewing the firework spectacular at
Magic Kingdom Park. Also, did you know you can book a
Guided Fishing Expedition from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort? If you prefer your entertainment to be more active, you will have access to volleyball courts as well as a
jogging trail with a gorgeous view. I hope this information will help you restore the heart of Te Fiti or just enjoy your adventure in paradise.
