I'm so excited to say we have booked our trip and will be staying at Pop Century Resort. From another questions, I understand there are ice machines on every floor of each building, but is there a water machine or cooler as well?

Hi, Jennifer! Thanks for POPping by with your question! One of the most important tips I give to my friends heading to Walt Disney World Resort is to stay hydrated! Summers there are quite warm, so you always want to have a bottle of water and sunscreen in hand. I have a few tips to share with you to make sure you do exactly that.

What you heard about the ice machines is correct. You will find a centrally located ice machine on each floor, usually near the elevators. While there are no water coolers, there are soda machines near the ice machines, stocked with a variety of beverages, including bottled water. You will also find individual bottled waters sold in the Quick Service coolers and multi-packs of them in the gift shop side of Everything POP Shopping and Dining.

When we are there, I prefer to carry refillable bottles into the parks with us. I was really excited to see during my last trip several water fountains across Walt Disney World Resort adapted to fit refillable bottles. This made staying hydrated on the go super easy! There are usually gallon-sized jugs of water in all of the resort gift shops that are perfect for refilling containers while in the room. Sometimes I do have to ask the Cast Members for them as they occasionally do store these behind the counters. The refrigerators in the guest rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort are perfectly sized for keeping smaller bottles of water and the gallon-sized jugs cool.

I hope this information helps you plan for a cool summer at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
