Hello! I’m very excited to experience our first family Disneyland hotel stay and 2day park fun. Question is do we have to bring our own towels and robes? Usually hotels provide them but just want to make sure. Thank you!

Hi there, Portia, and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question and I'm excited for you to experience the Disneyland Resort and the Disneyland Hotel very soon! It's always been my favorite of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels because of its history. It opened alongside Disneyland Park back in 1955 and has been renovated to the beautiful property that is there today. It still honors the history and legacy of the original Disneyland Park, though, and I love looking at the displays of what it looked like back then.

I spoke to a friendly Cast Member at the Hotel and confirmed that each room is furnished with two robes for you to use during your stay. If you require more, you're able to call down to Housekeeping and they will happily provide you with additional robes. And towels are most definitely provided both in your room and at the Pools. So there's no need for you to bring towels or robes from your home! In fact, if you really like the provided robes, you can find some Disneyland Hotel branded robes on sale at the merchandise locations in the Fantasy Tower. Talk about a cozy souvenir!

Pixar Fest will be going on during your visit, so I hope that you and your family have brushed up on your Pixar trivia! The handy Foodie Guide will give you an idea of some of the themed dishes that will be offered. I'm particularly excited for that Pixar Fest Cake but I'll definitely have to share it with my kids!

Portia, I wish you a truly magical trip to the Disneyland Resort! As a child, I would dream about someday staying at the Disneyland Hotel, so I can understand your excitement for your first family trip! If you have any more questions, feel free to write to us again. We'd love to hear from you and you're always welcome! Happy planning!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
