I'm excited that the Disneyland After Dark: Throwback Nite will be during my next trip! I have a Magic Key, but I'm traveling with 5 family members who don't have one. Can I purchase all of our tickets during the Magic Key pre-sale?

    Hey there Jennifer,

Welcome back to planDisney. I'm already imagining the retro vibes and fantastic dapper attire that guests will don during Disneyland After Dark: Throwback Nite. The music, the characters, the special fireworks, and the classic attractions just sound like an absolute dream of an evening.  I can't wait to see what PhotoPass backdrops and specialty treats await, too!

It looks like the Magic Key pre-sale has already happened, so I'm hoping you were able to secure your tickets. But if you've been cooling your heels, have no fear; tickets are now available for general sale. I just took a look and see that both dates are currently showing availability depending on your party size. But I'd burn rubber if you're planning to attend. Special events can and typically do sell out, so if this is something you'd like to experience with your travel party then hop to it, you dig?

During this retro-themed special event, you'll have after-hours access to nostalgic experiences and live entertainment throughout Disneyland Park, but your fun can start even earlier that evening. Ticket holders can enter Disneyland Park beginning at 6 p.m. with no additional theme park reservation necessary. I always try to arrive as early as I can for ticketed events so I can soak up as much magic as possible.

Be sure to take a moment to review the costume guidelines when selecting your threads for this event. You'll want to be fashionable but don't forget, comfort is always in style! Best of all, the asphalt is officially dry so no risk of getting your heels stuck like on Disneyland Park's opening day in 1955.

Jennifer, I hope you get to relive all the excitement of Disneyland Resort's first decade at this unique experience. I'm crossing my fingers your group will have it made in the shade for a most magical evening.

Come back and see us again with more planning questions.

    See you real soon,
