Hello, I'm going to epcor on September 10th. I woke up at 5:57 am, 60 days prior to my visit like I was told, but there were no available reservations. That's crazy it's already filled up, why is that? And do they take walk ups on that day?

    Hi Claire,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your question about dining reservations! One of my favorite things about my family's Walt Disney World Resort vacations is all of the delicious food we get to eat, so I'm glad to hear that you're already planning ahead for what you'll be able to enjoy during your visit!

I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble finding dining reservations, especially when you woke up early in the morning to get them! Because Guests staying in the magic with Disney Resorts Collection are able to make dining reservations for the entire length of their stay (up to 10 days) beginning 60 days before their check-in date, it is possible that reservations for a specific time or place could be unavailable 60 days in advance. I'm wondering if there was a glitch when you logged in, though, if you didn't find anything available. I'd encourage you to keep checking back! I'm not sure how many Guests are in your party or if there's a specific restaurant you're looking for, but I just used the handy dandy My Disney Experience mobile app to check for reservations for a party of four that day, and I see some fantastic options! While subject to change, there is currently availability at some of my favorites like Garden Grill Restaurant or Rose & Crown Dining Room! If you don't happen to see the particular restaurant you're looking for or a time when you'd prefer to dine, don't give up! Guests' plans change all the time, and it's certainly possible that more options open up. I'm sending pixie dust that your plans will come together perfectly!

Of course, if you're not able to find exactly what you're looking for, yes, you do have another option! You could always try to join a mobile walk-up list, which is available at select restaurants by choosing the current date and selecting "Now" within the "Check Dining Availability" portion of the app. While subject to current openings, it could be a great way to grab a table at the last minute!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Claire, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your trip. I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...visit!
