I’m eagerly wtg for registration to open for the 2019 Food & Wine races & checking the Rundisney site almost daily to ensure I can get my family a spot. How many participants will there be & how fast do the race registrations hit capacity?

    Hi Monica!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Depending on the length of your stay, you can enjoy a runDisney runcation, fall decor, Halloween spooktaculars, Epcot International Food & Wine Festival AND the start of Christmas cheer! I don't think it could be any more magical!

I'm delighted to let you know that general registration for Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will open on March 19, 2019 at 10 AM Eastern Standard Time. To prepare for the registration and make things go as smoothly as possible I would recommend creating your Disney account prior to registration and making sure you are logged in to the runDisney site in advance by click on Manage Account. You can now also register multiple family members at once, just make sure you have everyone's information on hand and ready to go.

While it's hard to say for certain how quickly registration will hit capacity, with 2019 being the 10th Anniversary of Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, I do expect it to be very popular. We don't know ahead of time how many registrants runDisney will allow, but I would say if you are logged in and ready to go right at 10 AM, I think you and your family should be just fine!

Please come back if you have any other questions before your trip this fall!
