I'm going to DW for 7 days in August with my 2 sons, ages 6 and 5 and staying at Riverside. My boys are not big water slide types. I'm on a pretty tight budget and was wondering about the water parks given that we have a resort pool?

Thanks for writing the panel Laurie! My daughter and I love the water parks, and are sure to visit one every vacation. If your boys aren't really into water slides, I'd say skip it. The pools at Port Orleans Riverside are great, and there is a fun water slide in the main swimming area, Ol' Man Island. One of the great things about staying at the Port Orleans Resorts is that you can use either pool, so one day you can hang out at the Riverside, and the next you can stroll over or take the boat to the French Quarter, where the can slide down a huge dragon and get sprayed by the Alligator Band.
