I’m a DVC member visiting Disneyland Paris in July this year. I am going with a party of 16 other people. What’s the best way to try and make a dining reservation for all of us? We are staying off site on this occasion.

    Hi Amy,

Welcome home! And welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your first question. I love helping fellow Disney Vacation Club Members plan their perfect trips to Disney destinations around the world. This time, it looks like you are swapping Orlando for a holiday at Disneyland Paris! I have been lucky enough to explore all of the Disney Parks around the world, and I can tell you the magic is alive and well at Disneyland Paris.

Guests not staying at a Disney Hotel can begin making dining reservations 60 days in advance on the Disneyland Paris app. It's really easy to do. When you open the app, you will see "Book a table" right there on the home screen. You can make reservations for up to a party of 10, so you will need to make two reservations. You will not be able to make both yourself, so another member of your party will need to make a reservation on their own app. When you arrive, speak to a Cast Member and ask if you can be seated together. They will always do their best, but this cannot be guaranteed.

My recommendation is to book some of the larger restaurants to increase your chances of sitting close to each other. These include the restaurants in the Disney Hotels, in particular Chuck Wagon Cafe at Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Cape Cod at Disney Newport Bay Club. Not only are these restaurants huge, but the food is great too! These hotel restaurants open at 6pm, and in my experience, the earlier sittings tend to be a little quieter.

You must be so excited to visit Disney Adventure World, the completely reimagined second park, including the brand new World of Frozen! There are also so many experiences you will not find at Walt Disney World, including Crush’s Coaster, a spookier take on Tower of Terror, and Avengers Campus! Please don't miss the nighttime spectaculars at each park, Disney Tales of Magic in Disneyland Park, and the brand new Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World. Both shows are performed daily at park closing time.

I hope this helps with your plans, Amy! If you have any other holiday planning questions, please reach out to me anytime. I hope you all have the BEST time visiting Disneyland Paris this summer!

See you on Main Street, Paris!
    Matt
