Hi there, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you're here with this great question about your upcoming vacation! You'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short days, and I can imagine how excited you must be!
Jessica, I understand that booking
Lightning Lanes can feel like a bit of a game because you want to make the most of your time. Happily, the system is designed to be helpful, and
Cast Members are always standing by to answer any questions you have at the parks. Once your Lightning Lane window begins, you generally have an hour to arrive. If you're a few minutes early, there's a chance that the Cast Member will ask you to wait until your designated time. In addition, if you're running behind and arrive after your window, you typically have about a five-minute grace period. After that, you'll need to chat with a Cast Member. If, for example, you're running behind due to
dining, bring your receipt to show the Cast Members so that they know why your plans were altered.
Be sure to use the
My Disney Experience App during your visit to help you navigate the parks. The helpful map feature can give you directions to everything from restrooms to dining to attractions, as well as show you wait times for experiences. You'll love the convenience of having magic at your fingertips!
Jessica, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to count down to your arrival! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
