I'm driving to Disney with a 4, 2 or 7 month old ! Would you suggest using our car to get to parks or transport ? Thanks in advance

    Hi Katie!

Thanks for stopping by with another question for us. I applaud you for driving down from NY with three young children. My wife and I have four children who are currently 7-years, 3-years, 2-years, and 11-months, and we always drive down to Disney World. However, we live in NC. Best wishes for safe and sane travels!

We usually drive our car to the theme parks. This allows us to come and go as we please, so to speak. Having young children, you know how unpredictable life can be. While my wife and I may plan to leave our Disney Resort hotel at a certain time, we may be set back by a toddler meltdown. Driving our own vehicle gives us the flexibility of being able to leave our resort whenever all six of us are ready, without worrying about catching Disney Transportation. The same goes for leaving the parks. If someone is too tired to continue, we can take our car back to the resort for naps.

Please let us know if you have any further questions before your visit to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
