I’m doing a split stay ½ at Coronado Springs & ½ in a villa. The day of checkout at Coronado I’m leaving the hotel (in an Uber) to pick up a rental car offsite. Will I have an issue getting back through the hotel gate to collect my family?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love when our friends come back to see us again with more questions!

I'm happy to let you know that you'll be considered a Guest of your Disney Resort hotel for the entire day of your check-out, so you will have no problem entering through the security gate when you swing back by to pick up your family. You may just simply use your MagicBand and they'll be able to see that you're still a registered Guest of the hotel. While your family waits for you to return with the car, they'll be able to hang out and enjoy all of the fun recreation opportunities at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort!

Of course, once you move over to a Deluxe Villa, you'll find all of the amenities that make your stay feel like home away from home. You'll surely love that, too! It sure sounds like you have a fun trip planned!

Thanks so much for visiting us again, Ashley, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
