Hi, I’m doing an on-line check in. How do I request a first floor room?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary! Thank you so much for bringing us your question! How exciting you have a vacation planned for this upcoming September!

As you probably know a request for a room in a particular section or floor of your Disney hotel can be made in advance; however, they are never 100% guaranteed because they will solely depend on availability at the time you check-in.

This is what I would recommend you do. Be sure to add a note to your reservation on your My Disney Experience account (either on the website or app) or by calling (407) 939-1936. Once you have completed the check-in process, if you notice your request has not been granted, you may stop by the lobby to ask if there is availability on the first floor. I am sure the Cast Members at the Front Desk will do their very best to try and accommodate your request if it is under their control.

Mary, I hope this information is helpful. Please come back with more questions; we are happy to help!

    Wishing you a fantastic vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
