I'm doing the Food & Wine runDisney event coming up, and was wondering if transportation from host resorts is just for runners, or if family is able to ride as well in order to see the start of the race?

    Hi Joseph!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Can you believe Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is just a few days away?!

Transportation will be provided from host resorts to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo and the start of each race. While it isn't explicitly stated by runDisney either way, I have been on buses in the past that have family members on it that are traveling to the start line just to chEAR on their family members. In my experience, they have never checked bibs or anything like that so I certainly don't think it will be an issue. I would potentially recommend as a courtesy to participants to let them board first so they can make their way to the corrals and start to warm up and get prepped for their race, but this is not expected or required. If you would like further information or hours of operation for the event transportation, you can always refer to the Digital Event Guide.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!
