I’m doing the food and wine race in nov and thinking of bring my daughter who will be 20 months. Which restaurant do you like better and why. Cape May Cafe or Chef Mickey for breakfast. Also, what’s the different beside location and the characters outfits

    Hi Lauren,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I've got to confess, both restaurants that you have chosen are supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! I love each for different reasons; let me explain why.

Cape May Cafe has one of my favorite breakfasts. I love the buffet (it has some unique offerings that you won't find at other restaurants) and the meet and greets with Minnie and her friends in their beachwear are so fun! This meal will give you some extra special photo opportunities with your daughter; I've had Minnie, Daisy, and Goofy in the past. If you are seeking a photo opportunity with Mickey, this may not be your best choice for breakfast, as he is not guaranteed. However, if you're planning on spending the day at Epcot, this breakfast location can't be beat-the International Gateway entrance at Epcot is a short walk from Disney's Beach Club Resort.

Chef Mickey's is the iconic buffet restaurant located in Disney's Contemporary Resort. The buffet is spectacular and this is THE place to get photos with the Fab Five-Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. I've had very good luck meeting all five during my breakfast visits there.  This would be a fantastic opportunity for photos of your daughter with the Fab Five, as they visit each table individually for photos.  If you had planned on spending the day in Magic Kingdom Park, this would be a great choice, as you can walk from the hotel to the park or you may take the Monorail.
