I'm going to Disneyworld in August. One of those days we will be having dinner at Cinderella's Royal table during the fireworks. Is this a bad idea?

    Hi Georgina,

I wouldn't say that this is necessarily a bad idea, but it's not really optimal either.

There are two potential problems with dining in the Castle during the fireworks. First, there will be some percussive booms during your meal. The interior of the dining room will muffle the noise a bit, but quiet conversation will be a bit difficult for some of your meal. The other issue is that you'll miss seeing the fireworks. There are only some small, stained-glass windows in the castle dining room. You would be unable to to see both the images projected onto the castle and the glowing blooms in the sky. However, if you'll be at WDW long enough to see Wishes on another night, then this is not much of an issue.

Personally, I'd probably keep my reservation at the castle as-is, but depending on your personal preferences, you may want to reconsider.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
