Hey there, hi there, Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! What a wonderful way to ring in the New Year by scheduling a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I'm really excited for you to make it all the way out here to see Walt's original Park and I'd be happy to help you with your reservations.
Even though
reservation requirements have been relaxed over at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort's
reservation policy has remained consistent and there have been no announcements that it will change. Reservations are released 120 days in advance on a rolling basis, so I suspect that you were simply checking the
reservation calendar a little too early before they were open. If you check again now, I think you'll see that your dates will now be open and that you should be able to book your Park reservations. I'm seeing availability for both Park Hopper and One Park per Day tickets. Just log into your
Disneyland account and head over to
Tickets and Reservations to book your dates!
Be sure to download the
Disneyland Mobile App onto your device before your visit. Similar to the My Disney Experience App, you'll find Park Maps, wait times, and many other useful items at your fingertips. It's also handy to register a credit card with the app before you arrive so you can easily pay for transactions within the app. And if you happen to be leaving Disneyland Park in the evening, the lamp in the second floor window of the Firehouse is kept lit in honor of Walt Disney's memory and I always like to give a silent thanks as I exit.
Stephanie, I hope that cleared things up for you and that you're able to make your reservations without issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions because you're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
