Annia from Jalisco Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’m going to Disneyland August 15-19th. I’m staying in a good neighbor hotel and I made my 200 usd deposit today. When I try to make my park reservations, I can’t select any date. Will I be able to make the reservations until I cover the full price?

Welcome to planDisney, Annia! Your summer adventure to The Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner, and I’m delighted to help you take the next step in making it a reality: securing your park reservations.

I checked the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, and it looks like reservations for August 15th and 16th are currently open, while the remaining dates of your visit (August 17th–19th) should become available by February 20th. I recommend keeping an eye on the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations page and making those reservations as soon as they open. If you run into any issues, a friendly Cast Member at the Tickets hotline will be happy to assist!

While you’re visiting, you’ll be stepping into an extra-special moment in Disneyland history: its 70th anniversary celebration! The parks will be brimming with festive touches, including the highly anticipated return of beloved nighttime spectaculars like Wondrous Journeys and Paint the Night, filling the skies and streets with dazzling lights and breathtaking magic. Plus, this summer marks the debut of World of Color – One: Happy! If nighttime shows are your jam, be sure to find a cozy viewing spot early to soak it all in!

And speaking of magic, one of the most exciting new additions is Walt Disney – A Magical Life, opening in the Main Street Opera House. This immersive tribute will feature remastered footage and audio recordings of Walt Disney himself, guiding Guests through his incredible journey from his early days to his legendary success in Los Angeles and beyond. The grand finale? An Audio-Animatronic Walt Disney sharing heartfelt stories and words of wisdom. It will be a must-see for any Disney fan! And that’s just the beginning of the 70th-anniversary festivities. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest updates.

I hope this helps, Annia! If you have any other questions as you count down to your magical visit, we’d love to see you again here at planDisney.

    Have a magical trip!
