Hi Julie! I can't think of a better way to start the day than breakfast with the Disney characters! Walt Disney World offers lots of opportunities to share a
meal with the characters.
You can dine with Mickey and friends at
Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort, and you'll find Goofy and friends at the
Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort. Breakfast at the Polynesian Resort's
'Ohana features Lilo and Stitch. At
1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian, the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast allows you to meet Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, and Tigger among other characters.
In the Magic Kingdom, choose
Crystal Palace to meet Pooh and friends or
Cinderella's Royal Table to dine in the Castle with the princesses. You'll also find the princesses in Epcot at Norway's
Akershus. In Hollywood Studios, you can meet Disney Junior favorites at
Hollywood & Vine. In Animal Kingdom, Donald's Safari Breakfast takes place at
Tusker House.
A few other resorts in the area also offer character breakfasts on certain days. The Garden Grove at the Swan has a character breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays only, the Hilton's Covington Mill has one on Sundays, and the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista offers one on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
For a first-time breakfast with the characters, I recommend Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Royal Table. Be sure to call 407-WDW-DINE for reservations well in advance of your vacation since these breakfasts are extremely popular and book up early.
Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
