I'm going to Disney World the second week of September & my first stop is Galaxy's Edge. I'm staying at Pop Century but I'm worried about the crowded lines and buses and I want to take advantage of the early hours. Any advice?

    Greetings fellow Padawan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Outpost! We are so excited for you to join your fellow Jedis on a magical journey to Batuu. The wait has been long with this one, but I know you will not be disappointed.

One of the best benefits of being a Resort Hotel Guest is complimentary transportation across Walt Disney World. Bus transportation starts approximately one hour before the earliest Park opening (so in the case of Extra, Extra Magic Hours that would be about 5:00 am) and stops two hours after Park close.

The bus from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to the Planet of Batuu takes about 20 minutes and drops you off right in front of the Main Entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The buses run approximately every 20 minutes, and you can track their arrival time on the My Disney Experience app. There are a lot of galactic travelers that are super excited to use the Force at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. But, Oga’s Cantina might get the best of them the night before, and you might not find the lines you are expecting at the early bus stop!

Another way to arrive in out of this world style is via a Minnie Van. The fantastic shuttle service can help take the worry out of your transportation. A delightful Cast Member will pick you up at your Resort and drop you off in front of the Park. I would schedule a ride around 5 am as you want to give yourself plenty of time to get through security before rope drop!

Megan, pass on what you have learned. May the Force be with you on your early morning journey.
