I'm going to Disney World next year with my family to celebrate our Tenth wedding anniversary. My Wife and Daughters ultimate dream is to be part of a parade. I know the family's are randomly chosen so whats the next best option to surprise them?

    Hi Martin,

Being in a parade is one of the most coveted magic that can happen at the Walt Disney World Resorts. I truly wish that I could give you the answer how to make it possible for you to be in a parade.

First, make sure that your room and dining reservations note that you are celebrating your anniversary. You never know what pixie dust might come your way. You also want to grab pins from the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort or at select locations at the parks to wear. These too might bring nice surprises.

You may want to surprise them with a fire works cruise to see Wishes or Illuminations. You can head out on a boat and enjoy food and drink and enjoying the beautiful display.

Another fun activity is booking a dinner show such as the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This show as great food an entertainment. Or how about a dinner at the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary. You can book you dinner so that you can enjoy Wishes at the Magic Kingdom.

You can also have a cake brought to your table to enjoy for dessert or even have your room decorated with gifts.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a happy anniversary!
