Hi Katherine!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney! It sounds like you have such a fun trip coming up! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorites!
I highly recommend grabbing dinner before the official start time of the party. That way, you can spend your party time enjoying all of the fun entertainment and shorter attraction queues, trick-or-treating, and meeting characters you don’t always get to see at the parks during normal park hours.
With your
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket, you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM. So, you’ll have a couple of options.
First up…you could grab dinner (or even a late lunch) at one of the nearby resorts. If you go to a restaurant at the
Contemporary,
Polynesian, or
Grand Floridian, you’ll be a short walk or Monorail ride away from the park.
Next up…you could
grab dinner at the Magic Kingdom sometime between 4 PM, when you can enter the park, and 7 PM, when the party starts. This is the route my family took!
We kept it simple and grabbed some hot dogs from
Casey’s Corner, but you could also choose to make a reservation at one of the table service restaurants.
Of course, if you don’t quite make it in time to grab dinner before the party starts, there will be some restaurants open during the party, too. I recommend checking the restaurant’s hours leading up to your trip if you have your heart set on a certain restaurant. That way, you can see if that restaurant will be open during party hours.
I hope you have the best trip! Let us know if you have any other questions!
