Well ahoy here Zakarri and welcome aboard planDisney!
It's so great to hear that you're planning ahead and charting your course ahead of your adventure on the
Disney Magic, and as someone who has spent years living and working on board I know how important it is to be as prepared as possible for every voyage. For a lot of fellow seafaring folks, this involves
knowing what to pack for their themed evenings on board!
Now here at planDisney we typically have the ability to have a look at which days during your voyage have been scheduled for each themed evening, but unfortunately it looks like you didn't put in the dates of your sailing for us to check! You're always welcome to come back to us here at planDisney again with more specific dates, but in the meantime here's some helpful tips that cover most cruises in the Caribbean more generally:
- Whenever a ship is sailing in part of the world that has local restrictions and regulations on fireworks for Pirate Night, this is typically something that you'd find more often in destinations like Europe or Alaska where this evening may be replaced by something else like the Frozen Deck Party. For sailings in the Caribbean, Pirate Night is something you can typically expect with every voyage that isn't a specially-themed Holiday sailing like Very Merrytime Cruises or Halloween on the High Seas.
- Since at the present time most Southern Caribbean sailings out of San Juan, Puerto Rico are typically seven days in length, the suggested attire for a 7-day Cruise tends to include opportunities to dress up a bit more on one or two evenings. How formal or fancy you'd like to dress is however entirely optional, and across the several sailings I've been on over the past few months this has ranged from elegant dresses to ripped jean shorts - with the exception of dining locations like Palo.
Since scheduled evenings and offerings on board are always subject to change without prior notice even right up to the day of your voyage, right now the only way that guests can really know for certain what to expect is when they
download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and make sure that it's updated as soon as they board. (Until then, it's really all about having outfits prepared and packed just in case!)
We look forward to seeing you back here at planDisney with more specific cruise dates for us to look us, or you can just
call the Disney Cruise Line Cast Members directly for these details for your voyage! In the meantime, I hope you have a fantastic time
sailing out of San Juan on your adventures in the Southern Caribbean - it's just a very nice change of pace from sailing in and out of the Bahamas that I hope you'll all be able to enjoy.
Wishing you smooth sailing in the Southern Caribbean!
