I'm going on the Disney Magic to the Cayman Islands in December. There are two beach excursions and a tour. Both can't be done. If we take the tour can we lounge on any beach? How much freedom is there while in Cayman?

    Ahoy Jo!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm so excited to hear you have a magical voyage coming up soon!
Grand Cayman is one of my favorite ports of call on the western itinerary! Georgetown is a beautiful, quaint town, and I hope your day there is fabulous!  If you decide to tour the island, the operator will drop you off at the pier where you will find many taxis waiting to take you wherever you want to go.  Seven Mile Beach is only a short ride away, and there is a public area with restrooms on the north end.  If you do decide to visit the beach area, just be sure to leave enough time for your return trip to the ship.  When the ship docks in Grand Cayman, a tender service is used because the ship is too large to pull up to the pier.  You want to make sure you leave plenty of time to drive back and catch the tender over.
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question, Jo!  If you need any other assistance, please let me know.
    Have a wonderful day!
