Welcome Aboard planDisney, Natalie! We are all so glad you “navigated” your way here to ask your question about cruising with Captain Mickey.
So many things aboard the Disney Cruise Line fleet are changing at a rapid pace. Currently, you can schedule one time for your children to hang out in the
Oceaneer Club & Lab once per day of your cruise. On boarding and port days, the sessions are 1.5 hours long, and on sea days, they are 2.5 hours. But I also have some good news! If there is open availability and your child wishes to stay in the club, you can schedule more time.
This is something that could change before you set sail in February, so be sure to keep an eye on your e-mail, as that is where I learned the most about my cruise in August. You will also want to become familiar with the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, where you can see your itinerary (including if/when your Pirate Night is), plus there is a super cute cruise countdown calendar.
Once you get onboard, be sure to plan to attend the Broadway-style stage shows each evening. We had a ton of fun watching Beauty and the Beast recently on the Disney Dream. I also enjoyed seeing a movie in the
Buena Vista Theatre late at night (be sure to bring a blanket – I was freezing!).
I hope this helps with planning for your February sailing, Natalie! Please come back to us here at planDisney with any other questions that you might have before then.
Bon Voyage,
Tracy
