Hello Natalie!
Welcome to planDisney! I am sorry you are struggling to find the
Advance Dining Reservations you are looking for. To
keep the theme parks as safe as they are able, the Walt Disney World Resort is not filling restaurants to capacity. This does lead to fewer reservations being available, especially during popular times like the spring break season.
I have a few ideas for you. First, always keep checking back. People often change plans, and reservations do get canceled. Because Guests who cancel with less than 24 hours notice can be charged a cancellation fee, you may see reservations get canceled in the days leading up to your visit, so be persistent!
I have also noticed that from time to time, the system will have a glitch and tell me there are absolutely no reservations available, but if I try again, or pick an alternate time, suddenly more appear. Rather than search for a table during “Dinner,” pick a specific time and choose a less popular time. For example, look for dinner at 4:30 PM, or lunch at 11 AM. You may find more options this way. Also, if the
My Disney Experience Mobile App is telling you there are no reservations at all, try checking using a desktop computer.
It could simply be that the popular locations inside the theme parks are booked. But the good news is that there are some amazing restaurants just outside the theme parks that are often overlooked, and where you may find a reservation! There are also some wonderful Quick Service options in the theme parks. If you’ll be visiting the Magic Kingdom, consider walking to
The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or the
Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. At Epcot, you can walk out the International Gateway and find additional Table Service dining options at
Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club, or
Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk. If you’ll be visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you could take the beautiful new Skyway to these locations as well, or try our family’s favorite quick service location in the park,
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. The pot roast is delicious! At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you could consider taking a bus to Kidani Village for lunch at
Sanaa. Pro Tip - try the bread service! Inside the park itself, check out another family favorite Quick Service location -
Satu'li Canteen. Be sure to order the dessert, it is out of this world!
I hope you can secure at least a few Advance Dining Reservations for your visit, Natalie, or that you enjoy one of these other great options. Sending you pixie dust for dining luck!
