i'm debating on whether to bring our stroller or rent one at the park for our toddler. any ideas? thanks.

Hi, Marylou!  We always bring our own stroller for several reasons.  The Walt Disney World strollers can be a little expensive to rent, especially if you are going to need one for several days, so bringing our own saves us money.  I also like having the storage space my own stroller has - the basket underneath, the cup holders, and even a little compartment that holds change, keys, cell phone, etc.  The theme park strollers have very little storage.  My stroller is also padded and comfortable, and reclines for nap time.  The strollers you can rent are hard plastic, so you will need to bring something to cushion them; and they do not recline.

The only time I haven't brought my stroller is when I know we are only going to spend a minimum amount of time at the theme parks.  It seems easier going through the airport without one, but it's sure nice to have it at the parks.
