I'm currently waiting for a new ID in the mail but it's been delayed because of COVID-19. My family is going to Epcot soon. I'm 22, but the only ID I have expired in March 2020. Will I be able to purchase alcohol in Epcot with my expired ID?

    Hey there, Caleigh!

You are going to have the best time traveling around the world with your family! Luckily for you, it won't take 80 days to make it the whole way around the World Showcase

Caleigh, in order to purchase an alcoholic beverage at Walt Disney World Resort, you must present a valid form of photo identification. Because the form of identification must be valid, you will not be able to use an expired driver's license.

If you do not have an unexpired driver's license, you will be able to use one of these forms of identification instead:

    - U.S. state driver’s license
    - U.S. state ID
    - U.S. military ID
    - Original passport
    - Copy of passport (either on paper or captured on a mobile device), along with a government-issued photo ID that can verify the person and birth date shown on the copy

Caleigh, I recommend that you make a quick call to the agency in charge of driver's licenses in your state to see if your request can be expedited, or to see if you can get a State ID before your driers license makes an appearance.

    Enjoy your trip!
