Hi I’m currently planning a trip for my children to go to Disney World next year. My son(7) and daughter(5) have both said they wanted to do the b/l/d in Cinderella’s castle. I want to know if this is still running and if the CRT swords and wands are there

Hi there, Cole! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

In my opinion, no trip to Walt Disney World Resort is truly complete without visiting the iconic Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom! This magical landmark stands at 189-feet tall and is the perfect place for photo ops with the entire family. At night, Guests can also look forward to the castle illuminating with over 16 million colored lights in an elegant display of pageantry and wonder.

The fun doesn’t stop on the inside of Cinderella Castle either! Guests can take in the intricate, handcrafted glass mosaic on the interior walls of the castle that tell the beloved story of Cinderella. If your little ones are interested in a bit of makeover magic, you can make an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Here, little ones have the opportunity to be turned into princesses and knights by their very own Fairy Godmothers!

It sounds like your son and daughter already know about the final offering in Cinderella Castle as well! Cinderella’s Royal Table is an enchanted place where Guests of all ages are able to dine with royalty in a setting straight out of a storybook. Currently, lunch and dinner are being offered at this dining location and feature complex dishes for the grown ups and comforting cuisine for the little ones. At this time, swords and wands are not being offered with your meal, however, this may not be the case during your visit next year. With this in mind, I highly recommend checking back in closer to your trip so we can provide you with any updated data we receive about Cinderella’s Royal Table!

Additionally, since Cinderella’s Royal Table is an immensely popular dining location, I also recommend making an advance reservation as soon as they come available. Currently, Guests are able to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance and, if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of your stay. Dining reservations may be booked online or through the My Disney Experience app on your smart phone. Just be sure to log into your My Disney Experience account prior to making your reservations!

Best of luck continuing to plan for your vacation and I hope you and your family have a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop back by if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
