Hiya, Avery, and welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Floridian and Annual Passholder, I'd be thrilled to help answer your question. It looks like you have a
Walt Disney World Resort visit soon, so let's talk about how to update your information for your pass.
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your recent nuptials! What a momentous and magical milestone! It's been many, many, many years since I walked down the aisle, but I vaguely recall all the red tape and paperwork it entailed to send me off with my brand-new name. It can be a lot of work, but spending your life with your Prince or Princess Charming is worth it!
I chatted with a ring-bearing Cast Member who said you shouldn't have any issue
renewing your annual pass, even if the pre-wedding name and address automatically populate online. She assured me that any plans you make in your My Disney Experience account will be linked to that account, so the differences shouldn't come into play for planning purposes.
She recommended that you bring along a photo ID with your new name and address so you can change the information on your annual pass in person during your next visit. You can do this at any
Guest Relations location or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Please feel free to call the
Annual Passholders line if you have any other questions.
I hope you can check out the
Passholder Lounge at the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT's World Showcase from now until mid-June. Relaxing on comfy chairs in air-conditioned comfort sounds like a dream come true! And remember to pick up the new
passholder magnet at Creations Shop. I hear it features my favorite Hawaiian troublemaker, Stitch!
Avery, may you have decades of love and laughter ahead. And here's sprinkling pixie dust so Disney memories play a part in your happily ever after! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
