I'm cruising on my first cruise with 2 kids 13,8yrs May 2012. We have planned a couple shore excursions. 1 excursion says we get a drink at the end but its a 3.5 hr Should I pack tuperware and take a snack/drink from the ship on shore with us?

    Hi Susan!

Great to hear from you again!  I love you are thinking ahead to make sure everyone is hydrated and not grumpy from an empty stomach.  Like you, I am always armed with snacks even on vacation! I usually travel with a few pre-packaged snacks that I can throw in my bag for our onshore adventures.  Water bottles are also great to bring along because you can fill them up on Deck 11 before leaving for the day.  You can also grab some fruit, cookies or chips from the counter service restaurants on Deck 11  as well.  I'm not sure which Port Adventures you have planned, but they may also offer snacks and drinks for purchase.

Thanks for another great question, Susan!

    Have a wonderful day!
