Welcome back, Jann! You fall adventure is a real Land and Sea vacation with a Walt Disney World Resort stay and Disney Cruise Line voyage.
When my family and I set sail from Port Canaveral, we include a few days before or after our cruise to enjoy the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so glad you'll be doing so too. Disney makes it super easy to transition from land to sea and back again. They offer optional
Ground Transfers taking guests from their Walt Disney World Resort to the port and then back to the resorts or the Orlando International Airport. It doesn't matter who made the flight reservations, all guests are able to add these Ground Transfers. Plus, guests using Disney's ground transfers to the airport can utilize the
Onboard Airline Check-In. Talk about convenient! Give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to add the transfers to your cruise reservation. I promise that letting Disney do the driving is worth every penny of the additional cost for the ease and simplicity!
When my family and I do this, we receive a note in our resort room the night prior to the cruise. It lets us know all of the details for the next morning, including our luggage being picked up right from our resort room around by 8:00 a.m., and then the pick-up time for our motorcoach. The time can vary based on how many guests are sailing and which resorts they're enjoying the night prior, but ours have been as early as 11:00 a.m. and as late as 1:00 p.m. Either way, you'll keep a day bag with you to continue enjoying the resort before it's time to head to the port. Your luggage will make its way there and magically meet your in your stateroom later that afternoon. It really couldn't be easier, Jann!
Have fun planning this Surf and Turf adventure!
