Hi, I’m going on the cruise with you next week with my son (single mum). What time is the evening meal served please? We have been assigned to the second group and I’m worried it could be late to eat for my son. He has intolerance to milk and eggs. Thx ZS

    Hi there, Zofia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the corner and I know you must be so very excited for the fun and magic that awaits you onboard your Disney Cruise Line ship!  Just a few more sleeps and then you are on your way!

It appEARs that you will be headed on a Northern European adventure with Captain Mickey and that is so much fun!  My family has sailed through Norway on a previous voyage and it was simply wonderful!  I always looked forward to the mornings when we were arriving into port and the views were spectacular!  You and your son are going to have the best time!  While dining times vary from voyage to voyage, the second seating is typically around 8:00 or 8:15PM.  If this is going to pose a problem for you, I would recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or via the chat feature online as soon as possible and putting your name on the wait list for main dining, which is around 5:45PM.  You can also check when you get onboard about changing your dining time; there will be a scheduled location for Guests to visit on embarkation day where you can inquire about dining changes, if need be.  If you do end up sticking with the second seating, then you can request that your dining room servers have your son’s food (and even yours) ready to go when you arrive.  This may involve pre-ordering the night before but can certainly be helpful since your son has dietary needs that you need to adhere to.  If you haven't yet done so, contact Disney Cruise Line to have your reservation noted with the dietary restrictions for your son.  Your dining room servers will do everything they can to ensure that his needs are met with the upmost care and attention.  My boys have dairy intolerances and I have an egg intolerance, and none of us have ever gone hungry while onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship!

As you continue last minute preparations for your adventure at sea, I recommend that you look through the packing list that Disney Cruise Line provides!  This will help you be sure you don’t forget anything important…but rest assured, the onboard gift shops have common staples in the event you do forget something!

Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure!  Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!

    Happy Sailing!
