Welcome to planDisney Charles!
I was so excited to grab your question because
Springtime is one of my favorite times of the year at the 'World! We started a family tradition of celebrating Easter at Disneyworld when we moved to Florida, so I've got a basket of tips for you!
My favorite event in March is
EPCOT's International Flower & Garden Festival. It is very similar to Food & Wine but with a botanical twist!
The Garden Rocks series is super fun - this year, the park will host John Secada, Sugar Ray, and my favorite - Air Supply!! Air Supply is performing while you are there - March 9th & 10th, and you can secure your spot at their 50th Anniversary show by booking a
Garden Rocks package.
Besides the music, the festival blooms with
gorgeous topiaries, and my favorite part of the festival is the
outdoor kitchens! The kitchens focus on delicious bites filled with fresh ingredients; you will not be disappointed! I fell in love with the Frozen Desert Lavender Lemonade two years ago, and last year, I drank 4 of them over the day! My kids refuse to leave the festival without having Frushi (sushi made of fruit, and it is delish!), and during our annual visit last year, we finished every evening with it! I guarantee you will find your favorite treat: the Chicken & Waffles and Grilled Street Corn are always sure bets.
In addition to the festival, you might catch the
Easter Egg Displays at the Resorts. Since you're visiting in early March and Easter is in late April, you may miss them this year, but if you can catch them, they are a sight to behold! Each Resort has a themed display of sugar and chocolate delights. A few years ago, the display at the Grand Floridian had the most enormous
Easter egg I have ever seen!
Charles, you are going to have a fabulous time during your visit. Feel free to bounce back with any other questions!
