I'm considering the TIW card, if we dine using the dp and order food/drinks not cover in the dp we can get 20% disc. for those items? also how does gratuity works? with the dp you pay for gratuity separate and for TIW they add 18%gratu.do I pay for2gratu?

    Hi Ana!

We purchased Tables in Wonderland for the first time during our February trip. By the end of that vacation, we had already made up the cost of the card and had begun saving money. Since we will be able to use the card on our upcoming October vacation, it has really been a good value for us. I definitely think we will be purchasing it again in the future.

If you use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meals, you can use Tables in Wonderland to receive a 20% discount on items above and beyond those covered in the Disney Dining Plan such as appetizers or alcoholic beverages. You will be presented with a check for those items with the 18% gratuity already included. The items that are covered by the Disney Dining Plan will be on a separate check and you can then tip accordingly. If your party has 6 or more Guests, an 18% gratuity is also added when using the Disney Dining Plan. So rest assured, that while you will get two separate checks and you will pay two separate gratuities, you will not be tipping twice on the same menu items.

I hope this is helpful for your planning. Please let me know if you have any additional questions as you get ready for your magical vacation.

    Have a Disney Day!
