Ahoy, Lloyd!
I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you aboard planDisney! I can tell you're in full planning mode for your Disney Cruise, and that's such an exciting place to be. This is when the magic starts to build, picturing yourself walking onto the ship, hearing that joyful, "Welcome Aboard!" and knowing your adventure is about to begin. Every detail you plan now is one step closer to the unforgettable moments you'll soon be making at sea.
It sounds like you have an incredible itinerary lined up with some amazing
ports of call. Before you set sail, let's make sure you're all set with the right travel documents for your voyage. Suppose your cruise is departing from and returning to the same U.S. port (known as a closed-loop cruise). In that case, you may travel with an original or certified copy state-issued birth certificate along with a government-issued photo ID.
While passports aren't required for these sailings, they're highly recommended, just in case something unexpected comes up that requires you to fly back to the United States, since passports are required for air travel into the country.
Keep in mind that requirements can change at any time, so it's always a good idea to check the
Passports and Travel Documentation page on the Disney Cruise Line website for the most up-to-date information.
I hope you find this information helpful, Lloyd! If any other questions come up, whether about
everything that's included on a Disney Cruise or anything else as you plan your adventure, just sail back over to planDisney. We're always happy to help chart the course for your magical voyage!
SEA ya real soon!
