Hey there, Marcella! Thank you for coming to planDisney with your question.
Walt Disney World theme park tickets will make an awesome gift to get some future vacation planning started. Since park tickets are dependent on a start date, I would recommend you go into the
ticket website and see what the tickets for dates around the time you are thinking might cost. Then, head to the
Disney Gift Card website and purchase individual Disney Gift Cards for each family member, to use for a ticket purchase.
If you do an online search of “printable Walt Disney World tickets”, you will find a vast array of images that you could print and wrap with the Disney Gift Card. You might even reach out to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to assist you with your purchase later and ask them if they have WDW maps available.
Since you won’t have actual tickets for them to open, you could also make a puzzle, with each person opening a piece that will eventually create a picture “We’re going to Disney!” or something of the sort. In the past, my husband and I surprised our children with a Disney Cruise Line vacation, and we wrapped up helium balloons that lifted to the ceiling when they opened the box, and the balloons were attached to a sign that said, “Disney Cruise in 16 days!”.
I hope your family is absolutely stunned and super excited to open your generous gift on Christmas morning.
Happy Planning (& Happy Holidays),
Tracy
