Ahoy, Kristina!
Welcome aboard! It looks like you'll be sailing away with Disney Cruise in a little over a month. I know it will be fun to have something to count down to after the holidays.
I'm glad you sent in this question because I'm happy to share with you what to expect when you arrive at the cruise terminal next month. The ship is typically cleared for new Guests around 11:30 to 11:45 a.m., so Guests will begin boarding around that time. With a Port Arrival Time of 12:15 p.m., you should be able to breeze in to complete your check-in, pick up Oceaneer Bands for your sailors' ages 3 to 12, and have your picture made with one of your
favorite Disney Pals before embarking shortly after. You'll receive a boarding number when you check-in, and it shouldn't take long for this number to be announced as they call them pretty quickly once they begin. Lunch will be served at various venues, and your stateroom will be ready at 1:30 p.m. At check-in, you'll receive a paper newsletter, The Personal Navigator, and it will list everything that is going on from the minute you step onboard! There will be plenty to explore, including the
youth clubs. The youth counselors will be on hand the first afternoon for any questions you may have, and it's the perfect opportunity to capture some photos of these areas as they aren't allowed during secured programming. You can also start using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you embark. It will have all the activities listed, deck plans, restaurant menus for dinner each evening, and so much more! You'll love having this app at your fingertips throughout your cruise.
Kristina, I hope I've cleared up any confusion about the Port Arrival Time. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out. We are always hEAR to help!
Nancy
