I'm confused about the Memory Maker. Does this totally replace the ability to have pictures taken for free? I used to be able to just grab a card and carry that around with me for the day and view my pictures online later on. Do they still hand out cards?

    Hi Traci,

Thank you for bringing your question to the Moms Panel.  Photographs are an excellent way to preserve the memories of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  Disney PhotoPass service is complimentary and you may have as many pictures taken as you wish, using your Magic Band or PhotoPass card.  You may then view your pictures online and pay only for the ones you wish to download or have printed.

Memory Maker is available as a separate purchase and allows unlimited downloads of your vacation photos, attraction videos and character dining photos.  Memory Maker is a great option if you know you're going to want to purchase all of your photos.  I know that it's sometimes very hard to narrow it down to only a few photos.   If you' know you'll want that video of yourself screaming your head off on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, I would recommend the Memory Maker purchase.  I may or may not have just downloaded that same video of myself from my recent trip!

I hope that you make many wonderful memories on your vacation.
