I'm confused last time my family of six went to Disney (Nov 2007) tips with the dinning plan where included. Now do we have to pay out of pocket for tips or are they included with the plan because we have a party of 6 people eating together?

There have been some substantial changes made to the Disney Dining Plan since 2007. Gratuities are no longer included for anyone on the Plan. All Dining Plan guests will need to tip their server out of pocket (cash, credit card, and room charges all work for this). Guests who are in parties of 1 to 5 can choose the level of gratuity they would like to leave. All parties of 6 or more will automatically have a tip of 18% added to their bill.

You can find out more information on the Disney Dining Plan brochure. This includes a listing of all restaurants that are on the Dining Plan, as well as additional information about number of credits used, counter service vs. table service, etc. To download the brochure, click HERE, then click on the Disney Dining Plan card, then click on "Download Disney Dining Plan PDF."
