I'm confused about grocery delivery. We will be staying at ASMusic in March and I thought I read that groceries are now held in some type of locker instead of with bell services. Is this true? Trying to make sure my food will fit in a locker if need.

Hi there, Nichole! Thanks for visiting with us.

I cannot do a trip to Walt Disney World without ordering at least a few groceries. I like to have some things delivered that won't fit in my carry-on - a case of water, diapers for my grandkids, or a giant tub of cheeseballs for midnight snacking.

Disney's All-Star Music resort is the first of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels to install smart lockers, making it easier for guests to receive packages at the resort. If you've ever placed an Amazon order or anything along those lines, you know you've had to go to guest services, maybe wait in line, juggle a couple of toddlers, a surly teen, or a cranky spouse, and it hasn't been convenient. Now, it's convenient! The lockers come in multiple sizes, so no worries about size.

However, as much as I know some things are worth melting for, those convenient lockers are not worth spoiled, melty food. Fear not, Nichole. I spoke with a Cast Member at All-Star Music Resort who assures me that groceries can still be delivered directly to the front desk. Your items will be stored, nice and cold, until you come and pick them up from bell services. As long as you don't have alcohol delivered, they're happy to keep your groceries until you want to get them.

If you don't want to pick up your delivery, you can ring bell services when you are in your room, and for a $6 fee, they will bring the groceries directly to you. That's convenience, right there.

Thanks so much for the question, Nichole!
