I'm coming to Magic Kingdom Not-so-scary with my 14 mth old. I wanted to see if any moms have taken a child this age. He's tall for his age 32inches, but I wondered if anyone else child loved the rides or if they seemed to get scared easily

    Hey there, Ashlee!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting Magic Kingdom Park with your little one in just a few weeks!

You are going to love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Mickey throws the best parties and this one is no exception! As a mom of four, I have taken all of my children to Walt Disney World Resort at least twice before their 3rd birthday. We actually took our twin boys for their first visit when they were 15-months-old. My children may be unusual, but we never encountered a single ride that scared them. In fact, they were always anticipating the day that they would meet the minimum height requirement to ride the thrill attractions. That being said, we did skip Haunted Mansion until they were closer to age 4 or 5 to be on the safe side. I believe you will find there are so many attractions your 14-month-old will be able to experience at the iconic park.

I recommend securing a spot along the parade route at least 30-40 minutes before the parade starts for optimal viewing. Your son will love seeing the Disney Characters in "Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade" which is a "must do" for my family when attending the spooktacular event.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Ashlee. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
