Hi, i'm coming to DW in early June with DH and 2 DD ages (16 and 19) what would be some good resturaunts to eat at for this age group? whats the normal weather, we're from northern MN? and are the water parks cleaned every night?

    Hi Bonnie!

Here are some of our favorites. Hopefully you'll find a few that interest your group!

Magic Kingdom: The Columbia Harbour House offers excellent sandwiches, soups & salads at a counter service restaurant. Its worth the visit to the upper seating area so that you can overlook both Fantasyland and Liberty Square from a unique perspective.

Epcot: Both of our kids love Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavillion. This hibachi style restaurant offers entertainment and a great meal at the same time! While perennial favorites are the Teriyaki chicken and udon noodles, there are also great seafood & vegetarian options here.  A close runner up  is Les Chefs de France in the France Pavillion.

Animal Kingdom: Without a doubt, our family's favorite is Yak & Yeti. An Asian inspired menu that always has plenty of options for everyone. The lettuce cups, lo mein and fried wontons with pineapple and cream cheese are among our favorite items to dine on here.

Hollywood Studios: This one is a tough choice! Both the Sci-fi Dine-In Theater and the 50's Prime Time Cafe offer great entertainment with your meal. At Sci-Fi, you can dine in a car while watching terrible, but amusing, science fiction movie clips. At 50's Prime Time, you'll be transported back to Mom's kitchen. Mind your manners, or else you may just find yourself in hot water! For a more leisurely dinner, Mama Melrose offers wonderful Italian food.

In June, plan on hot days of Florida sun, perhaps an afternoon shower and beautiful nights! With your older kids, it may be a great idea to enjoy the Evening Extra Magic Hours - when the parks are cooler and teens have the most energy!

And, last but not least, the water parks do get cleaned each night and prepped for the next day!

    Hope this helps!
