Hi, I'm coming to Disneyworld directly following a Disney cruise. We plan on going to Epcot the same day we arrive from the cruise, but I'm wondering what to do with our luggage since we cannot check in (Port Orleans Riverside) until the afternoon.

Welcome aboard, Brigg! Isn't it so exciting to be able to plan a Land and Sea vacation with Disney?

The great news is that you don't need to worry about your luggage at all. You didn't mention how you were getting from the port to the Walt Disney World resort, but no matter if you're driving or taking Disney's ground transportation, you can take it directly to your resort.

Quite often when I check in at a Walt Disney World resort, I've arrived early and the room is not ready yet. Each time, I've simply left my bags with the porter near the front desk. When you arrive at Port Orleans, just check your bags in with them. They will tag it and give you a receipt. Keep that with you, and then head off to the Epcot! Later on in the day when you arrive back at Port Orleans, you can either pick up your luggage yourself or call from your room and they will be glad to bring it right over for you.

Have fun planning the rest of your Disney "Surf and Turf" vacation! Let me know if you have any other questions about your cruise before you set sail!
