Hi there Emily!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you prepare for your adventure to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. You must be so excited, counting the days until you start making memories with your Mouseketeer. Let's chat about getting your little one to and from the theme parks!
Emily, car seat laws vary state by state, so I recommend you familiarize yourself with them by doing a bit of internet research before arriving in Florida. Many ride-share drivers will not transport a child without a car seat who, by law, still requires one. While you won't find a locker or space in the theme parks large enough to store your own car seat, when selecting a ride in the Uber or Lyft app, you can usually request a vehicle with a child seat. My friend who stayed offsite near
Disney Springs just last month shared that she used Uber Car Seat with her infant several times during her vacation with no problems.
I hope this is helpful, and that you have the best time ever
sharing the magic of Walt Disney World with your child. Be sure to visit the Baby Care Centers in each theme park; these incredibly useful locales can be an oasis of tranquility for a toddler who needs a quick break to use a tot-sized toilet or a parent seeking a more spacious diaper changing station. You can also purchase any necessities you forgot to pack in your theme park bag. You'll find the Baby Care Centers in the following locations:
Thanks again for coming to see us at planDisney, and if there's anything else we can do to help with your upcoming holiday, don't hesitate to reach out again.
Wishing you magic and memories,
Betsy
