Hello Michael, and welcome to planDisney!
Wow! Your trip sounds fantastic. When it comes to
Walt Disney World vacations, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. I'm happy to share how to keep the whole band together at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
Michael, to reserve more than one resort room for the same time frame, you need to
call Walt Disney World Reservations to complete the booking. When you speak to the Cast Member on the phone, let them know the Guests in the two or three rooms would like rooms as close as possible. Don't make any other room location requests during online check-in to maximize your chances. If you're interested in family suites or preferred rooms, you'll be placed in one of four preferred buildings clustered together in the Jazz or Calypso sections, automatically nearby. Standard rooms are in the Broadway, Country, and Rock buildings. The Cast Member assisting you will add the "traveling together" note on the reservation regardless of room type.
I hope everything works out for you and your crew! Last fall, a few of my planDisney pals and I linked our reservations, and we were all fortunate to end up along the same corridor at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. It made coordinating departure times convenient, and it was fun to unwind at the pool outside our rooms in the evenings. With a large group, having somewhere near your rooms to relax and debrief on the day's events is nice.
One final quick tip for your grand gathering, Michael! Consider purchasing
Memory Maker to come home with some great group photos from your adventure. Ensure your entire party is
linked in My Disney Experience so everyone can enjoy the fun. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, and have a magical day.
