    Im coming to Disney end of Sept 2010. Hoping they offer free dining or free room... with this offer is the value resort still the best or should we look into a moderate

    Of course there is no way to be 100% sure that Disney will offer such programs for next year, but certainly they have done so regularly for the last several years, so it is a good bet they might do it again.

    As for whether you should go with Value or Moderate, it is really just a budget call. Some choose to stay in value resorts to save even more money on their vacation. Others opt to 'bump up' to moderates, using the money they saved on the promotion to make for a more comfy stay on the trip. Either are good strategies, it is really up to you what your budget allows.

    Personally, I am in the second camp. I love to take the savings and apply it to upgrading to a room at one of the Port Orleans moderate resorts. While the park transportation from all the Value and Moderate resorts are the same (buses), Port Orleans has a perk that none of the others enjoy: the boat to Downtown Disney. We love to boat over there for some nice meals and some shopping. We love the scenic boat ride as well!
