Hi, Im coming from Australia next year and am hoping to run the Disneyworld half marathon. In terms of bib pickup I'll be on a Disney cruise from the 6th-10th of January (run is on the 11th). Do I need an admission ticket to the park to pick up my bib?

Hi there, Paige! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Congratulations on making the decision to run the Walt Disney World Half Marathon! In 2020, thousands of runners will be joining you for a weekend of entertainment, challenge, and, of course, Disney magic!

Participants of the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend are invited to attend the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo that takes place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This event will showcase exclusive runDisney merchandise as well as the best in running technology, nutrition, footwear, and more! The Expo is also open and free to the public so no park ticket is required!

You will also have the opportunity to pick up your race shirt, gear bag, and gEAR bag during your visit. You may also want to note that you must pick up your race big prior to your event. In your case, you will need to do this prior to Saturday to participate in the Walt Disney World Half Marathon. On Friday, January 10th, 2020, the Expo will be open from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm so you will want to plan on picking up your race bib during this period of time!

Best of luck participating in the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! Please let us know if we can help you with any other part of your Walt Disney World Resort trip!
