Like you, I'm eager to take advantage of advance planning when
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass roll out. These services will replace what we now refer to as Disney Genie+ Service and Individual Lightning Lane, respectively, on July 24, 2024. As you've seen, guests of
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and select other eligible resorts will have access to advance planning up to 7 days before their check-in date while off-site guests will have access beginning 3 days before their ticket start date. However, this will not be available to anyone until July 24. Before that day, guests can continue purchasing and using Disney Genie+ Service as it currently exists.
I know you are excited to secure your plans for that first day, but unfortunately, you will not be able to plan 7 days out for this particular visit since your dates are within the transition period. If you have multiple days of admission associated with that July 23rd check-in you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and schedule 3 eligible attraction return times per day beginning at 7 a.m. EST on July 24. As you make your selections that first morning, you'll be able to choose dates, parks, and attraction selections for any additional ticketed days. Once the system is fully rolled out you can enjoy advance planning for future trips. The access simply won't be available in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App for anyone until the changes are launched.
I know this is not the answer you hoped for, but I think it's still pretty exciting that you'll be among the very first guests to utilize this new and improved system. I can't wait to plan out my next trip and coordinate our favorite experiences around dining reservations. This will be a welcome change from the daily morning hustle I've experienced on my last few visits.
